No, and we will never call it one. Moissanite is a real gemstone in its own right — lab-created silicon carbide — with more fire than a diamond (dispersion 0.104 versus 0.044). It is graded for colour (D–F) and clarity (VVS1), and it is priced a fraction of a mined diamond. It is not a diamond, a “simulant” dressed up, or a lesser stone. It is its own thing, and we sell it as exactly that.

On a basic thermal tester, yes — moissanite conducts heat much the way a diamond does, so pen testers often read it as diamond. A dual moissanite/diamond tester tells them apart. We mention this only so you are never surprised: we always describe the stone as moissanite.

Every Noctaura piece is solid 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver all the way through, not plated over brass and not gold-filled. It is a genuine precious metal, soft enough to be worked finely and hard enough to wear daily. It is never gold or vermeil, and we say so plainly.
