A butterfly settles mid-flight, wings traced in lab-created moissanite and cast in 925 sterling silver — the kind of light that seems to move on its own.
Moissanite is a real gemstone in its own right, cut from lab-grown silicon carbide, prized for a dispersion of 0.104 against a diamond's 0.044 — more fire, more colour flash, catching every lamp and every eclipse of shadow the same way. We never call it a diamond, and we never call the silver anything but what it is: 925 sterling, finished to hold its shine against skin, not just a display case.

Last thing on, first thing off. Perfume, lotion and hairspray first — wait a minute — then the piece.
Sterling tarnishes; that’s normal and it polishes back. A soft cloth and a dry drawer keep it bright, and because the silver is solid rather than plated, there is no finish to rub through.
The stone is hard — Mohs 9.25 — so what dulls it is film, not scratches: warm water, a drop of mild soap and a very soft brush bring the fire back.
Never ultrasonic cleaners, toothpaste, baking soda, vinegar, bleach, acetone or alcohol — they attack the silver and can dull a stone.
